I have been seriously quilting since 1988, the last several years I have pursued textile art quilting. I probably have always been an art quilter since I designed most of my own pieces and they were anything but patchwork. I have a loft studio in a mountain setting and spend a great deal of time there. I love Quilting Arts Magazine and have been a subscriber since inception. I more recently subscribed to Cloth Paper Scissors and am looking forward to the new publication this fall. Creating is a large part of my life and I don't think I could survive without it. I am so thankful I was able to retire at an early age, having more time for my art.
