Hello there! I'm Pokey Bolton and although I wear a few different hats, I'm essentially the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Quilting Arts Magazine, host of Quilting Arts TV on PBS, and Editorial Director for the Quilt & Paper Division at Interweave. People often ask me why people call me Pokey, especially since I've got no short supply of energy. Believe it or not, my middle name is Pocahontas, a name that has been past down through the generations in my family. Although I don't look it, I'm a descendant and hence Pokey for short.
But I digress.
I am really excited for this online community and hope that you enjoy your time here. I've learned over the years that fiber and mixed-media artists really do rock, and I'm looking forward to connecting with old friends, making new ones, and learning from all of you.
