small projects

I had a lot of fun this weekend working on small projects that I could finish in one day (a first for me). Yesterday I made 2 critters like the ones in the latest Cloth Paper Scissors. One of them is for my niece who is really into Manga (I'm not quite sure what it is but all the characters have huge eyes). I made her a cat with a manga-type face. And then I made a very feminine cute critter holding a bouquet of flowers for my mom for Mother's Day.

Today I cut up UFO's into 1 1/2 inch squares and finished them off with various embellishments for future trades with other artists.

So now I feel I can go back to the world of science until next weekend.
