Thank you for the encouraging compliment. A lot of my work includes free hand drawing, BUT from a picture or photo; i.e. Gallinule bird--thread painted, butterfly & cattail the same. Seagrapes, also the same, but painted with pastels, the frog, drew, thread painted, filled with cotton & appliqued to the fabric. Some of the leaves& flowers are fabric cut-outs, except the huge sunflower, I drew that from a real sunflower.

Your quilts are gorgeous, much more difficult & precise from what I sew.

How nice is that!! We are each other's first friend! Yes, we can learn buttons together. I will need to find Royce. What is her name here? I did something wrong, I did not want my name to be my email address. I started on the wrong foot. I will see if I can get an answer on how to change it....tomorrow. Diana
